Notes

When choosing your clothes for trip/expedition, please try to be sensitive of the local culture. Many of our river journeys go through remote areas where local hill people traditionally dress conservatively. If you dress in short or tight clothes you may cause offense and you will almost certainly gather a crowd of interested followers!

The river can sometimes be a very bright place as the sun is intensified by the altitude and by reflections off the water. Even those whose skin naturally tans can burn very quickly! We recommend that you take a high factor of sun cream.

We remove all our rubbish from our campsites and lunch spots so that we leave the beaches as beautiful as we find them. Please try not to bring anything with unnecessary packaging as this makes the job of clearing our rubbish much harder!
